This week, we have been learning to sit on a special mat. The long-term idea (in Mum’s head anyway) seems to be that when people come to the door, instead of jumping three feet off the ground and greeting them right in the face, my job is to go and sit on the mat until they come and say hello to me. Really Mum? Really?
